Under its broad health policy umbrella, the Mongan Institute for Health Policy (MIHP) houses three centers committed to specific areas of interest. Certain MIHP faculty members focus primarily on activities within these centers, often in collaboration with other MIHP faculty and extensive networks of colleagues who share their particular interests, inside and outside Harvard Medical School.

The Center for Performance Excellence guides transformational change in health care management and helps leaders, administrators, and practitioners in the health care workforce nationwide achieve and sustain performance excellence.

The Center for Genomics, Vulnerable Populations and Health Disparities explores emerging research findings relating to genetics in the context of population health disparities and examines how key patient populations are affected by differential access to genetics-based interventions.

The Disparities Solutions Center is dedicated to developing models for identifying and eliminating racial and ethnic disparities in health and health care.
