The Mongan Institute for Health Policy (MIHP) conducts research on critical issues facing health care policy makers and delivery system leaders today. MIHP’s affiliation with Partners HealthCare System and Massachusetts General Hospital, a major teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School, affords investigators a unique, resource-rich setting in which to pursue both applied and scholarly studies, as well as to translate research findings into practical applications. Numerous governmental and philanthropic sources fund MIHP’s research activities, which have grown substantially since its founding in 1998. MIHP is recognized for research of the highest quality, credibility, and innovation, and for its influence on health care services and policy.
